DESCRIPTION

Bench-scale continuous plant for catalytic hydrogenation of liquid fuels and oils is available. The plant is ideal for proofs of concept, the operating windows can be determined to obtained the desired product profile. The reaction unit of this plant is a stainless-steel fixed-bed reactor operating as trickle-bed at temperatures and pressures up to 250°C and 35 bar, respectively. The facility includes pressurized liquid and gas supply sections, a gas/liquid high pressure separator, gas flow measurement, gas and liquid sampling devices, temperature monitoring inside the reactor (different axial and radial positions), liquid product recovery and storage and emergency evacuation systems.
