We offer a series of analyses for determining the composition and/or quality of fats and oils using standard methods (AOCS, IUPAC, IOC), including analytical assays for the determination of minority and majority components (Total FA, FA,TAG, omega-3 FA, trans-FA, tocopherols, sterols, waxes,among others)

  • UV visible spectrophotometer PG Instruments
  • GC HP 4890D
  • GC Perkin Elmer Clarus 580 (FID-TCD)
  • GC  Agilent 7820 (FID-Headspace sampler)

APPLICATIONS

Edible oils, oilseeds, olive oils, vegetal lecithin, fish oils, fats, margarines, shortenings, fatty foods.
