Rotational rheometer

ANTON PAAR – PHYSICA MCR301

DESCRIPTION

Laboratory instrument for rheological characterization of liquids, semi-solids, and soft solids using rotational and oscillatory measurements. Enables determination of viscosity, viscoelastic properties, and mechanical response under controlled stress, strain, and temperature conditions.

MAIN FEATURES

  • Torque: 0.5 nNm–230 mNm; resolution <0.1 nNm
  • Normal force: ±50 N; angular velocity: up to 314 rad/s (3000 rpm)
  • Frequency: 10??–628 rad/s; angular resolution: 0.05 µrad
  • Modes: rotational, oscillatory, and DMA (torsion and tensile)
  • Automatic gap control (AGC/AGS); RheoCompass™ software

MAIN APPLICATIONS

  • Rheological characterization of food, pharma, cosmetics, and polymers
  • Viscosity, flow behavior, viscoelasticity, gelation, and thixotropy
  • Research, formulation development, and quality control
