Two Phase Flow

GAS – LIQUID TWO – PHASE FLOW

DESCRIPTION

Two – phase flow is found whenever a liquid circulates with a vapour or a gas along a tube. Condensation and boiling are typical processes that lead to two – phase flow. The laws that rule this type of flow are the same that apply to gas or liquid flowing alone, but the situations and, consequently, the calculations, are more complex. This course gives the key concepts to understand two – phase gas – liquid flow, such as definition, identification of different flow regimes, pressure drop and heat transfer calculations.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Technical and operational staff of gas, hydrocarbons, mining, food, pharmaceutical and fertilizers industries, among many others.
The course may be tailored to the particular interests of the company.
