Dispersion stability analyzer

TURBISCAN CLASSIC – TMA2000

DESCRIPTION

Instrument for evaluating the physical stability of concentrated dispersions (emulsions, suspensions, foams, and colloidal systems). Uses Multiple Light Scattering (MLS) to detect instability without sample dilution, through rapid, non-destructive analyses.

MAIN FEATURES

  • Light source: near-infrared LED (wavelength = 850 nm)
  • Detection: transmission (180°) and backscattering (45°)
  • Automatic or manual scanning; resolution: every 40 µm up to 80 mm height
  • Modes: single scan or automated sequential measurement
  • Operating temperature: 10-40 °C; self-calibration for drift correction

MAIN APPLICATIONS

  • Stability evaluation of emulsions, suspensions, foams, and colloids
  • Detection of sedimentation, creaming, flocculation, coalescence, and foam aging
  • Research, development, and quality control of formulated products
